Here we will guide you through loggin onto your computer.
What is a computer?[]
We know you know what a computer is :) there is a possibility you were issued one for your classroom, in the office, or a loaner you need to get onto to check emails and other employment stuff.
It can be a:
Desktop PC; which is most likely a rectangular object that is sits behind, under, or on the floor on or around your desk. Commonly referred to as the "CPU" (or 'paperweight' depending on the age of your technology)
Laptop: this is more of a portable unit with a self-contained battery so you will not have to have it plugged in all the time, the keyboard and monitor is permanently attached, and in place of a mouse there should be a touch pad at the base of the keyboard.
Logging in[]
Your username is generated by taking the first four letters of your last name, then combining it with the first four letter of your first name.
So for example for an employee with the name Abraham Lincoln, their username name would look like this:
LincAbra
Your initial password is going to be: Access1
During your first login the computer will force you to change this password, please choose a password that is unique to you and easy to remember. The password must contain a Capitol letter and a number (at least one of each).
Forgot your password[]
This happens from time to time, there are a lot of passwords to remember and when dealing with one thousand children a day it can be taxing on the ol' noggin.
If a password request is sent, the technology department will reset it back to Access1 and you will need to change it once again. If you need to request a password reset you can go through your admin office or see Tech Support
